LBCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that assists families in financial crisis in the Long Beach School District. We strive to lessen the burden for hard working families needing temporary assistance experiencing financial difficulties.  Any family can experience a crisis, whether it is a sudden death of a parent, divorce, abandonment, loss of employment, sick child, or a Sandy-like catastrophe. With over $750,000 dispersed in the last four years alone, we continue give hope to our local families. We hope you will join us.

Over $750,000 in assistance has been distributed in the past 4 years alone!

Thank you Robin Hood Foundation for grants totaling over $250,000

About

Our charity works directly with social workers from the Long Beach school district. The social workers submit summaries of families in crisis and then committee members determine, based on each family’s circumstance, how much financial help will be granted to each individual family.
